In her role as Vice President, Talent & Acquisition, Johanna was instrumental in propelling the success of a premier Human Resources executive staffing firm. Johanna collaborated with the CEO and CFO, cultivating business plans to support the company’s dramatic growth. She executed business development strategies that increased revenues dramatically. Johanna directed all business operations relative to the client companies, contractors and core staff ensuring the highest standards of service. She was an integral part of the expansion team that launched and managed branch offices in New York and Northern New Jersey.

As Vice President of Human Resources for Pilling-Weck, she was responsible for the design, development and implementation of comprehensive human resources policies and programs. Ms James established a human resource department and developed it into a contributing force that supported the needs of a fast growing company and senior management.

Recently, working with the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Johanna orchestrated a complex redeployment process that resulted in 95% retention of the 470 employees affected by the consolidation.

HELGA M. KAUTSKY, C.P.A., Consulting Director of Finance

Helga’s career as a financial executive spans more than twenty years, providing resourceful and performance driven financial & treasury management to companies, both large and small. She began her career in public accounting, spending five years on the audit staff of Price Waterhouse where she obtained her CPA certification. During her corporate tenure, she held various senior financial positions at SmithKline Beecham, Astra-Merck, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc.

In 1997, Helga founded Pickering Financial Ltd., where for the past six years, she has provided outsourced corporate financial services to client companies not requiring a full time senior financial executive.

Helga is responsible for all aspects of the finance and accounting function, including development of the annual budget and long term financial projections.
